Senior Security Analyst

The position is within the Information Security Group, reporting directly to the Information Security Manager and occasionally the board. Despite its broad scope there is a heavy focus on Project Governance with this being 75% of the day-to-day responsibilities. The Senior Security Analyst will be responsible for undertaking risk assessments throughout the whole project lifecycle, highlighting and remediating any found risks. Currently TUI loosely aligns to CRAMM, but is looking to formalise this methodology. The Senior Security Analyst will be responsible for providing security expertise across a variety of projects covering multiple business areas such as – Infrastructure, Mobile, Applications and E-commerce. This person will be working closely with project teams who currently align to PRINCE2 methodology.
In addition, they require someone who can analyse the results of third-party Penetration tests, (TUI currently use IRM and ECSC) triaging and mitigating any found vulnerabilities. This person must be able to communicate with both technical teams and senior stakeholders in order to effectively remediate risks.
They are looking for someone who has experience in highlighting issues within projects and understands what good information security looks like. The role also involves working as part of a team with 3 junior security staff; they need someone to be approachable and respectable to aid their development.
